Sugarfina, the luxury confections boutique founded in Beverly Hills, CA, and retained Lizan Retail Advisors (LRA) to assist in selecting an appropriate franchise partner for their concept in Mexico.

Sugarfina needed a unique type of partner in Mexico, one that could take the brand and build it up in the market with a hands on approach. The brand needed a franchise not only with capital to grow, but with track record of brining high-end brands to the marketplace.

Our client was able to successfully sign a franchise agreement to open 26 boutiques over the next 5 years. The brand will introduce its unique, gourmet sweets in Mexico for the very first time. The multi-channel partnership will launch first with boutiques in Mexico City followed shortly thereafter with a dedicated eCommerce site and wholesale partnerships.
